Triumph and Tears!!!

The 2010 Soccer world cup is over and Spain was crowned the winners!!! I really enjoyed watching the soccer games especially as the competition started to get tougher. The final was nail biting stuff for sure as it almost ended in penalties. The triumph went to Spain and the tears went to Nederlands... This is sport however there is always a winner, even though its still an amazing result to lose the final as that placed Nederlands second. The ultimate goal is to win so I guess when you get so close to a goal then its devastating not to achieve it! I have really been motivated by watching the games, especially by the stikers excitement after scoring a goal, I love it!! I loved watching Diego Forlan from Uruguay every time he scored a goal as it really shows so much passion for what he does. The Spanish players were the same so Andres Iniesta reaction was great as his goal led his team into winning the ultimate prize!
I have had my own triumph and tears as well but in a smaller scale.... I am back in Hungary training which is great!!! But the bad thing is that I got a little ill so I have been off from training for a few days...not to worry however as I will be strong and healthy again soon:)
I have been an assistant coach for Nandor while he trains the other guys, it has been fun to see other people paddle as we all have a slightly different technique. Its been good to watch how our boats move through the water from a different view instead of being in control. This has thankfully gotten me through the last few days and kept my head up as its not nice to be forced not to train when you know there is a goal close at hand...
